A Story of Devotion
Paws & Whiskers was born from a shared love for pets and a determination to improve their lives. Lifelong pet owners Matt and Joanne were heartbroken to see their beloved animals suffer from various health conditions. Determined to make a difference, they turned to academic research and sought the expertise of their trusted friend, Dr. Peter Petrov, a veterinarian with over 20 years of experience. Together, they refined supplement formulas that would later become the cornerstone of Paws & Whiskers—a brand committed to offering safe, natural, and effective solutions to tackle common pet health challenges.
For Matt, this mission is deeply personal. His journey with Hans, a rightful German Shepherd adopted in 2012, shaped the foundation of Paws & Whiskers. After battling life-threatening illnesses like canine parvovirus and kennel cough, Hans became a cherished part of Matt’s family. In 2023, Hans was diagnosed with liver cancer and arthritis. Despite these challenges, his health and quality of life improved significantly through a tailored regimen of natural supplements developed with Dr. Petrov’s guidance. Hans’s resilience continues to inspire Matt’s commitment to creating solutions that bring hope and comfort to pets and their families.
Similarly, Joanne’s experience with her Goldendoodles, Sandy and Minnie, underscores the impact of Paws & Whiskers. Adopted as playful siblings in 2014, Sandy and Minnie brought endless joy and companionship into Joanne’s life. As they aged, both dogs began facing mobility issues and digestive challenges. Joanne’s search for effective care led her to Paws & Whiskers. Within weeks, the supplements transformed Sandy and Minnie’s well-being—restoring Sandy’s mobility and rekindling Minnie’s vibrant spirit.
In early 2023, Sandy was diagnosed with cancer, a devastating blow for Joanne. Through this difficult time, the supplements played a vital role in Sandy’s care, enhancing her comfort and quality of life during her final months. Sandy’s passing in August 2024 deepened Joanne’s resolve to advocate for pet health and honor her companion’s memory. Today, Minnie, now a feisty senior dog, thrives under Joanne’s care, a testament to the transformative impact of love, dedication, and the right support.
